Paradise found on Isla Saboga!
We’re still fairly new to Panama and working our way down the “must see” list. The Las Perlas Islands are, of course, on the list and when we lost a reservation on Isla Contadora last weekend we were incredibly disappointed. But it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened because we discovered Isla Saboga and the beautiful home that Lee and Jennifer have created there. If you travel at all, you hear the phrase “Tropical Paradise” quite a bit. But Isla Saboga is the real thing. An island that is almost undeveloped and still radiating raw beauty.
Some friends of ours had stayed with Lee and Jennifer and had a great time, so we decided to give it a try. It turned out to one of the most memorable travel experiences that we have ever had. They are fantastic hosts and ambassadors for this unique place. The accommodations were luxurious, but still nestled in among all of the unspoiled, natural jungle beauty. We started each day with a delicious breakfast before heading down to the beach, which is just steps away and right out of a movie. Lee and Jennifer arranged a whale watching tour for us and took us on a fantastic hike around the island. By the end of the weekend, we felt like we had been a part of something very special.
Thanks Lee and Jennifer for an amazing experience! We look forward to coming back so0n!
Beate, from Panama City.
